Nate spent nearly a decade as a market maker on the New York Stock Exchange floor, standing in the crowd and reading the tape before screens replaced the pits. He learned to read order flow the old-fashioned way — by watching the specialist book, reading the body language of other traders, and feeling the rhythm of the market in real time. After leaving the floor, Nate transitioned to screen-based trading with a focus on end-of-day setups that reflect the same supply-demand dynamics he observed on the floor. He writes to translate institutional order flow concepts into practical setups that independent traders can use with daily charts and EOD data.
