How we rank the best setups.
What is the Conviction Score?
When a stock appears on multiple scanners at once — say it's a Bull Flag AND has strong relative strength AND just posted a Power Earnings Gap — that's not a coincidence. The Conviction Score measures how many independent signals are firing on a single stock at the same time. More signals from different angles = higher conviction.
The Tiers
S-TierExceptional. Multiple strong signals across different analysis types. These are rare — when they appear, pay attention.
A-TierStrong. Several confirming signals from different domains. High-probability setups worth serious research.
B-TierSolid. A few signals confirming each other. Worth watching and researching further.
C-TierSingle signal or weak confluence. The setup exists but lacks confirmation from other angles.
What makes it different
Most scanners show you isolated signals — a flag here, a breakout there. The Conviction Score connects them. It weighs rare, high-quality signals more heavily than common ones, and factors in whether institutional money is flowing in or out. The result is a single number that tells you: how many reasons exist to pay attention to this stock right now?
How to use it
- •Check the Stock Rankings for the highest-conviction setups each day
- •Sort by conviction to see which stocks have the most signals firing
- •Use the tier as a starting point for your own analysis — higher tier = more worth your time
