Find stocks that moved significantly after hours. Post-market scanner detects overnight gaps following the previous session and classifies each as catalyst, continuation, or reversal.
After-hours moves are where overnight catalysts get priced in. A clean 2%+ gap from yesterday's close on a stock that closed flat is almost always a news event — earnings, guidance, M&A, or a regulatory decision dropped after the bell. Our post-market scanner runs on a real-time market data feed, then enriches each result with a classification: After-Hours Catalyst (a flat prior session followed by a sharp gap), Continuation (gap in the same direction as the prior session), or Reversal (gap against the prior session's direction). The catalyst class is the most actionable — those are the names where something genuinely changed overnight.
For post-market movers, an A+ grade means a 10%+ overnight gap classified as an After-Hours Catalyst (a flat prior session followed by a sharp gap), with prior-day volume above 1M shares. A grades require 5%+ overnight gaps with catalyst classification or strong continuation. B+ requires 3%+ gaps. B meets the 2% minimum overnight move. This is not a prediction of future price movement — it is a way to prioritize which charts deserve your attention first.
